Well I just got done changing plugs on my car. I put some autolite 25's in to replace the 24's which are my juice plugs. Well, I did cylinders 5-8, all looked good, started doing 1, 2, then 3. Once I pulled 3 I noticed that the porcilin was all white :eusa_thin Pulled 4, it was the same color as all 7 others. :eusa_thin Got me thinking. I am guessing that my car was not firing on cylinder 3 hence it is white and TOTALLY dif from all the other plugs :eusa_naug I guess the boot was never put on totaly and it wasnt getting juice.....Thank the Lord my motor is still in one peice. Several weeks ago I raced my friend in his 00 ss and I was spraying. Guess I am a lucky sole. Guess that also explain why the car has seemed to be using more gas inthe past several months. I made sure that ALL the wires were on tight this time :eusa_wall

Your spark plug could be hot from a vacuum leak.....

Only one of them was white. All the others looked good and normal. I noticed the car was slower then it normally was and used a little more gas, but I drove it 800 miles in the past 2 months. So thats like nothing at all. So I didnt drive it as much to really notice it was not right.

Yea i did the same thing on my car..... They are designed to break when the oil pump seizes so it doesnt take the distributer out with it
