Thats not the one that is going to be produced. That is the one the kid came up with 3 years ago for chevy to make.

The one ruckus posted from the article is the one GM has selected. We will see in one of the next car shows if it is a definite production model.

NICE GRILL....YEAH and you can fry mustangs w/it too!!!! and considering the weight and base ls-2 motor it shouldnt be far off the gt-500 on its first debut....I hope the general does it right so i can use my cobra the way it should be used ..to TRAILOR MY CAMARO TO THE TRACK!!!lmao

o my f-ing lord. thats umm....an interesting car... the new challenger on the other hand looks almost ExACTLY like the old muscle car, just a lil more modern. that things gunna pack a 13.0 second quarter from the factory. dodge did a nice job!

Just wait until you see the real thing.. I remember when the 05 mustang was
in prototype .. damm I loved it .. when the production version came out
I was like WTF ... now with new body kits .. I am slowly starting to like them..

Well looks like GM WILL DO IT AGAIN. Also thanks Shelby for killing off the cobra. Ford just want build us a cobra with a soild axle and a power plant to match. I really believe if the cobra badge would have stayed on the new car and the price would have been cheaper ford would have went to the bank. I have heard so many guys now saying they wouldn't own the new GT500 and would rather buy the dodge product now and looks like the Gm product will take some cobra lovers now also.

Yes it would...gives us something else to beat up on again :)

Looks good in the video that was up on the internet for a day from Road and Track..but it was pulled because GM didnt want it out yet. Challenger is pretty hot....this time around I think its better than the 60's and 70's for fast cars. Live it and Enjoy it!

funny how people always say . I want one, hope they build it. Knowing that they are not gonna buy it anyway. Manufacturers take a big gamble on retro. Look at the GTO. Not selling. They built the Charger R/T, and the thing is a pig at 4144 lbs. Then chrysler tries to hide it by saying 'we didn't have the retro thing in mind" yeah right. :kissmyass What they should do is offer limited editions of the retro styling.

exactly. the newer cars might be nice but its funny to have a low 12 second 88gt with like peeling paint and an unpainted cowl etc go up against some hotshot old guy in his brand new $50,000 vet that he thinks is sooo fast and the 88gt spanks him .. haha!
anyway, i like the rear end and the side scoops on the camaro, but the front needs to be angled a little different.

well 03/04 clame 390hp ... but its more like 440hp GT500 is going to
be 470+hp .. why did Challenger not come with 500hp to start with..

They all seem to have the same body line. I am going to try and get side shots of all three to really compare maybe I am wrong but I really dont see huge differences like a vette to F-Body to Stang from 2002 and below. Also looks are subjective, the GTO desn't sell mostly because GM outpriced it and Ford is lucky they did since it kicks the crap out of the new stangs.

I think it looks very respective of the 68-69 cars yet its not totally retro. Like the current Stang or Challenger. Either way having a 400hp LS2 powered Camaro puts the current Stang on the boat. If they were to go SS a 500hp/LS7 would be a major problem for the upcoming Cobra. A few muscle cars could lead to a good old HP war !!!!
that would be a problem for the cobra. even with the ls2 it is gonna move. 400hp in a 3250-3350lb car. compared to a pullied cobra 3750lbs and 450whp.

now put an ls7 in the new camaro. and it will be not far off from the zo6 and maybe even ahead of the shelby. but as allready stated gm is not smart enough to do this, thus the reason i am driving a ford.
