Guys.
If you are thinking of ordering a clutch quadrant/firewall adjuster kit and buying the PREMIUM AFTERMARKET CABLE DO NOT DO IT!
Only order the Firewall Adjuster and actual Triple Hook Quadrant. DONT BUY THE CABLE. The OEM Ford cable is the best around.
I put the aftermarket cable/kit in and was extremely displeased with the results. The clutch pedal was stiffer than a 1970's Pro-Racecar and it actually stuck to the floor and took much longer to retract. IT WAS HORRIBLE..
I often found myself dumping the clutch under casual driving.
Mike79 and Stangfreak sat in my car and said they NEVER EVER felt any clutch that bad and they didnt understand how I could be driving like that.
I went to Mustang Magic today, put the stocker back in with the aftermarket quadrant kit. OMG!!!!! Its amazing, it picks up just a little bit higher than the middle and it feels like BUTTER. I am so glad everything worked out perfect for me today. Please use my advice on this in the future if you are dealing with an 03/04 cobra:
USE THE FACTORY STOCK FORD CLUTCH CABLE

Exactly. :eusa_clap Also make sure the quadrant has spacers and is positively located so the cable feeds into it without rubbing the sides of the groove. I didn’t do this in my 95 Cobra and the quadrant ended up cutting through the cable which accidentally engaged while at a stop light when it snapped. Luckily it was 2:00am in the morning and nobody was around or it would have made a real mess. I had to drive home over 10 miles without a clutch also no fun and I think I got every red light on the way.

Everyone i recommend a Quadrent and firewall adjuster to. I have them use a stock Ford OEM cable. The adjustable cables suck

I have heard really bad things about aftermarket cables from many different people...I know to stay away.

$59.99 for the UPR Triple Hook Quadrant and Firewall Adjuster.
I PAID $90 for the same kit with the AFTERMARKET P O SHIT CABLE!!
UPR Makes a great product for the terminator however I have heard mixed reviews about their other products outside of the clutch quadrant line.

Yea some of their other stuff isnt so great. Their quadrent and adjuster is good though. Ive installed both the UPR and Steeda on different GTs and Cobras. Im leaning more towards the Steeda. But either way you cant go wrong

I have the Maximum Motorsports Firewall Adjuster, Steeda Quick Release, and Maximum Motorsports Pedal adjuster on my car. The Maximum Motorsports Pedal adjuster adjusts the clutch pedal height so now my clutch and brake pedal are even with each other. Don't use the Maximum Motorsports Quadrant if you are looking for faster action or to using the Pedal Adjuster as it is the same exact ramp as the stock quadrant.

i originally put a UPR cable in there with the install, then removed it when it made the pedal about 3x stiffer than stock. threw the stock one back in and snapped it about a month or two ago. had to temporarily put the UPR back in until i got my steeda.
ALWAYS carry a spare clutch cable. it was good advice given to me from a friend, which saved my ass when it snapped and i was stuck on the side of the interstate.

I would much rather drive home without using the clutch then trying to change it on the side of an interstate.
Saw this post just in time. I went with the Steeda Quadrant/Firewall Adjuster and kept the stock cable.
The clutch now have a better feel than stock and releases quicker too.
