Would we all be able to meet up somewhere like Eisenhower Park next time? Or do we need a permit for that. Its right across the street. Nice big parking lot with a whole mess of Fords would attract some nice attention and insane group photos.[/QUOTE]
Adam:
Good seeing you, the 631 pimp & nice meeting some of the SVT-ers too. We dont have an OBI or Bald Hill near us but theres a few places near Hooters that are probably good for shows/meets. In Eisenhower, theres a big lot that faces an open field (near the lake). In the peak of the summer it would probably be a problem but I cant see them busting balls in the Fall. Probably a good spot to catch Hofstra hotties on rollerblades too!
You also have Nassau Comm College. Nobody there on Sundays. Bonus: twisty road that runs around the East of the campus is a great driving road.
I also saw a BMW M3 meet in the Roosevelt Field small lot near Comp USA. One time, went shopping with the wife for a couple of hrs & when I came back out, they were still there so guess its cool to hang there.
Field 3 of Jones Beach: A few years ago, I caught some organized Go-Kart races there but the other half of the lot is empty.
Any feedback? For guys like me, who have a wife and baby, Sunday mornings are soemtimes the only day we get to drive our cars. :eusa_booh
