Leave captree around 9:30 yesterday, head home and immediately start to work on the bronco. I work pretty much all day, with a short break for lunch and 2 trips to autozone (both times forgetting stuff that I needed(bought the wrong tranny fluid) and one trip to SK speed. I changed the oil / fitler, spark plugs, wires (upgraded to Ford racing 9mm), changed over to a MSD distributor cap, added a K & N air filter, changed my tranny fluid and filter, pulled off the throttle body and cleaned off the 13 years of oil junked onto it, cleaned the IAC. Attempted to change the fuel filter but could not get it off ( I never been successful at that!). Ran out of light, finish up around 6:30. Go to start it and it would not start. I figured out the MSD distributor cap was installed at a different position then stock. Thank god I drew a picture and wrote down where each wire when. I did not notice that the wires where numbered until I installed the last one…oh well!!

So I clean every thing off the car, but forgot that I had a rag by the fan I was using to plug one of the coolant lines through throttle body. Start the car, put it in reverse and the steering wheel will not move. Hope out look at the motor and see the rag. Oh well there goes the fan belt. Now it is too late to get a new one. All day working and I could not even take her for a test drive to see if it made any difference. Everything cost me about $300, I sure hope it was work it. Oh and I have 37 new scares on my fingers.

Rookies!!!!
