Congrats Mike on breaking into the 12's on the stock motor.
With your future mods you have planned I wouldn't doubt that you drop another 3 tenths.
BTW, post up the specs from the time slip. (ie 60",330, etc)

thanks guys. my times were as follows, 60ft 1.73, 330ft 5.22, 1/8 8.17@82.78, 990ft 10.66, 1/4mile 12.90@ 103.8.
those #'s should be alot better next season when i get a fresh new clutch in it. steve at mustang magic said that i was burning thru the clutch because i was screaming thru the traps at 6000rpm. he said with my 4.10's and my 26" tires it should have been more like 5200rpm which is just right on a stock 5.0. my rear main leaked and got my clutch alittle oily. so anyway in the spring i will be rockin a new clutch, some longtubes, and some weld wheels. i'm still racing on the stock turbines. i'm shootin for 12.60's at 105-106. i'll find out in the spring. can't wait, i hate winter.
awesome factory freak mike.....like i said b4, impressive

What was the path like to get there? Alot of low 13 sec passes or what. How crucial is a good launch?

thanks matt and bobby. shiz302, launch is just about everything. the first 60ft makes or breaks the run. as you can see most people that go 103mph only run mid to high 13's so you gotta launch like a bat out of hell. whiteheat306 the car is setup like this-
electric fan, u/d pullies, mac shorties-mac prochamber-mac mufflers, 14" k&n cone filter, flaming river manual rack, pro5.0 shifter, aluminum driveshaft, moser 31 spline axles, 4.10 gears, megabite jr lower's, subframes, mickey drag radials 235/65/15 on stock turbines, no a/c, no backseat, battery in the back, adj fuel reg, 90/10 lakewoods, harwood race bucket seats. uh, i think thats it. well anyway the motor is untouched. stock everything.
