FORD get it fixed this is poor!!

Ok I brought my 03 in a few days ago to have a few things fixed. One of the issues being the all so famous head TICK. I assumed they would just replace the head as the TSB I provided them with indicated. Well 4 full business days later and me being stuck driving around in a BEIGE TAURUS, I still have the TICK. According to the service guy Ford is aware of the problem, will not tell you what the problem is and has not discovered a fix as of yet. So needless to say I do not have a new drivers side head. What is going on and why is there not a fix for this annoying problem? I say annoying it may actually be causing damage to my engine who knows. Who has some answers? Who can I call or who can I yell at to get this widespread problem fixed and or addressed?

How loud was the tick? I have a small tick coming from my motor since 90 miles. Doesn't seem to have gotten any worse.. but it's there and I can only hear it if I'm parked next to something.

I heard a sound clip of the tick and it was disgusting loud. Sounded horrible and like the motor was broke and out of oil.

The tick is not very loud but is distinct if that makes sense. It will not get any louder it just won't go away. It definitely sounds like you have the tick, hopefully Ford will come up with a fix soon. My mods can only stay on hold for so long. BTW, Big Turkey if the sound seems to be coming from your drivers side wheel well it's probably the tick.
