View Full Version : Saw an unbelievable number

Well driving to work this morning I merged on to the highway got a clear opening and put the pedal to the floor.What happen next was cool but scary.
Look down at my boost gauge and I watch it climb past 16psi to 19.5psi at that point I lifted my foot.


No detination at all truck pulled so hard I was ready to cream myself.


Here is the deal I believe I am having belt slip cause I am only soppose to see 16 psi in the heat.I know you gain a few pounds in the cold weather but 4psi(it would of hit 20 if I stayed in it).

I just put the boost gauge in to see if I was def. having belt slip.

I guess this morning I had no slip at all.......

Time to order some Idlers.....LOL

what pulley combonation are you running ??? stock upper and a 4#er, and a ram air should net you like 16#s of boost...Stock is only 8...running close to 20#s of boost I hope you have a built motor cuz thats just playin with fire.

sounds like a nice set up....you should come to the Hooters meet on Sunday. Its normally a pretty good day of BSin and relaxin.

Yeah I def feel the truck running better than ever in the colder, drier air!
